In January 2024, we began our Artsmark journey at St Pius X Catholic Primary School. What is Art? - January 2024
Mr McGoldrick led a whole school Prayer and Liturgy assembly based on art and artists. The children were shown images and asked to decide whether they thought it was 'art' or not. As the pictures were discussed, he encouraged us to think about the natural beauty on our earth and to think about who the artist was who created these beautiful things, including US! We now understand that God is also an artist, who created each and every one of us and he wants us to be artists, just like him.
