Physical Education
At St Pius X we saw an opportunity to adapt our curriculum to meet the needs and opportunities of our children, to use PE as a vehicle for mental well being as well as physical health and education. In PE we have continued to have the expertise of our specialist sports coach Mr Thompson throughout remote learning Mr Thompson taught live lessons via Zoom everyday follwoing the schools usual timetable.
The priority for PE was to keep the children active and moving. Our adapted curriculum allowed for our PE lessons to be both inclusive and a way to develop physical and mental health.
