LUNCH TIME CLUBS
We also offer lots of clubs during the lunch break at St Pius X these run from 12:20pm - 12:50pm to give children the opportunity to participate in School life.
School Council children get to have their say in School life, children are nominated by their classmates.
Lego League (Y5&6). This club is part of our STEM involvement, children get to compete with other Schools, this club is run by Mrs Crellin and is by invitation
Choir (Y3-6). Children enjoy learning new hymns and songs and often sing at events such as Confirmation Mass, Family Mass, Christmas Carol events. They love to share their voices with the residents of Ostley House Barrow too.
Orchestra (Y5). Group get to continue their learning of the brass instruments.
Laudato Si (Y3-6). Children learn to be stewards of God's Creation.
Homework (Y3-6). For any child needing a lit bit more help with their homework.

We offer lots of exciting clubs that are open to different year groups. After School curricular clubs start at 3:15pm and finish at 4:15pm. The clubs included activities such as:
Fun Fitness (Rec-Y2). This is a paid club held by outside agencies such as Limitless Dance or Barrow Community Sports
Art & Craft (Rec-Y4). This club has 20 places available and is run by Mrs Hurley and Miss Milligan, children learn through art & craft and have produced some excellent work that has been displayed in our Church, School, homes and along Ulverston Canal.
Brass (Y3-Y4). Children get the chance to learn a brass instrument with Mr Stoneham our Music Teacher, we provide the instruments.
Maths (Y6). This is a club for extra lessons for children in their last year at St Pius X Catholic Primary School.
Reading (Y6). This is a club for extra lessons for children in their last year at St Pius X Catholic Primary School.
Netball (Y3-6) at this club children enjoy learning the rules of Netball and playing for St Pius X in competitive competitions with other Schools in our Cluster and area.
Film Club (Rec-Y6). This club has 30 spaces and children are allowed to watch movies.
Football Y3-6 Mr Thompson runs and organises the football club, children get to learn the moves and rules whilst enjoying the physical activity. The football team compete in lots of competitions through the year.
