Our Year 3 children are currently enjoying the expertise of Gill Sharpe who is a specialist dance teacher. They are enjoying creating and copying dances and movements to a range of music.

Our Key Stage 2 children took part in a Panathalon event at Hoops. Panthalon is a series of inclusive multi skills activities that test: Coordination, accuracy and speed. We are extremely proud of the children who took part because they came away with 1ST PRIZE! They have now been invited to the county finals.

Festive Lakeland Ultra.

Just before Christmas, each Key Stage ran a virtual tour of the Lake district, covering 100 miles.

Cross Country

The Autumn term saw lots of running, we took part in X-country events both real and virtual.

Walk to School Week.

On the week commencing 17th of May 2021 our school took part in a national walk to school week. As a school we managed to save 850 car journeys. We had so many children take part who all enjoyed themselves: Walking, skipping, cycling and scooting to school.

National Skipping Day.

At the beginning of November we joined other schools across the country by taking part in National Skipping Day.

We had lots of fun showing off our skills.

Sponsored Run.

Late October saw classes take part in a sponsored run around the playground to help raise money for our minibus.

The weather didn't dampen spirits.
